Rebecca DentCEO, Registered Dietitian
Sports Dietitian and mountain sport enthusiast: High Performance Dietitian founder Rebecca Dent is on a mission to bring world-class, sound, scientific and easy to access, personalised nutrition advice to mountain athletes and outdoor adventurers everywhere.
Rebecca’s fierce passion and determination to stay on top of the latest nutrition evidence has led her on the path to studying a PhD with Lausanne University researching nutritional influences in ultra endurance events. Her knowledge and expertise is built on a solid ground of academic qualifications and a professional career of nearly 20 years that spans the NHS, British Ski Academy, Sport Scotland Institute of Sport, Olympic and Commonwealth games athletes and teams. She has a wealth of experience working with recreational to world class athletes including ultra runners, climbers, ice climbers, mountaineers, mountain guides, ski mo racers, mountain bikers, expeditions and adventurers, fast packers and multi day races. She supported the GB climbing team and GB climber Shauna Coxsey to reach the Tokyo Olympics in 2022, elite world class and recording breaking ultra runners William Sichel and Paul Tierney.
Rebecca lives and works in the Chamonix valley where she combines her love of endurance and mountain sports with her passion for performance nutrition. Rebecca has built a global reputation for her rigorous scientific approach and unrivalled depth of practical experience in applying nutrition theory to endurance and adventure sports. She speaks regularly at industry events in the UK and Europe and delivers services with leading brands including, Ourea Events, Arctery’x, The North Face, BASI, BMG, outdoor festivals and has developed a strong partnership with world leaders in coaching for mountain sports Uphill Athlete.
Rebecca’s passion is fuelled by the inspirational and motivated athletes, teams and organisations she gets to support helping achieve their outdoor and adventure goals.
Rebecca loves spending her free time in the mountains and enjoys the changing of the seasons; biking and running alpine trails in the summer, getting up high mountaineering and through out the Winter enjoys ski touring, ski mountaineering and snowy runs with her favourite fur ball, ‘Lumi’ the dog!

Ellie HarveyCOO, Brand Manager, Project Lead
Ellie is the lynchpin of High Performance Dietitian, with a repertoire of professional strengths that spans customer service, business development, clinical knowledge and problem-solving insight.
Combining her passion for mountain sports with a strong interest in food and nutrition (she’s the queen of meal prep and planning), Ellie brings a wealth of critical thinking skills to the High Performance Dietitian team. After completing a degree in Outdoor Leadership, Ellie’s ski seasons in France in her 20s only gave her more of a taste to live in the mountains, which led to her move to the French Alps in 2017. Ellie completed an advanced diploma in nutrition before moving to the Alps which, paired with her background in sales and product launches with pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline, means that she offers the HPD team valuable insights and drive for development.
Ellie brings energy, passion and positivity to the HPD team and creates interesting and innovative working strategies that are made to fit the needs of every client…when she is not out skiing, climbing, running, ski touring, mountain biking, cross country skiing, hiking, and generally having fun in the mountains!
